Hi! I am so happy that you are here. I am Cristina Ovalle, the owner and lead planner at Southern Heights Events. I am a long time and proud Texas resident based in Central Texas!

I graduated right down the road at the good ole UTSA (Go Roadrunners!) with a Bachelors in Business Management. My love for weddings began when I was a young girl after watching JLo play Mary Fiore in The Wedding Planner. I know, all too well, how consuming planning an event as large as a wedding can be, especially with a full time job. Just like the main character who was the 'Behind the Scenes' fairy godmother, it is my goal for y’all to trust that my team will be there to support you and your special event. We would feel blessed to help ease your mind and help you thoroughly enjoy your special event - whether it’s a wedding, anniversary, or even a corporate event.


When I am not coordinating and planning, I am running with my very happy and sweet labrador retriever, connecting with my dear family, catching sun, singing joyfully (even though I cannot sing, lol), AND, most importantly, spending time with our Heavenly Father!
