Hi! I am so happy you are here. I CANNOT BELIEVE this moment is finally here - Southern Heights Events is OPEN!

I am Cristina, the owner and lead planner at Southern Heights Events! My love for everything weddings began when I was a young girl after watching The Wedding Planner about 1,000 times! After graduating right down the road at the good ole UTSA (Go Roadrunners!) with a Bachelors in Business Management, I dreamed of finally starting my own event planning company, but quickly realized that I would need insurance benefits and income “stability.” While life’s journey kept in an industry I love - customer service - it brought me to devoting much of my time in corporate America, a place when I lost sight of my dream. For years, I struggled with finding my purpose in my “work” and realized after much reflection that it was time to take the leap. And, so, Southern Heights Events was born!

Our team cannot wait to start helping couples turn their dream wedding day dream into reality, all while taking out the stress out of planning one of the most special days in their lives.
